Autumn Apple Glaze
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup apple cider
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 each apple, peeled and small diced
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoons grated ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon bourbon (optional)
salt, to taste
DIRECTIONS
I. place all ingredients into a sauce pot except bourbon and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer until thickened into a glaze
II. stir in bourbon
III. all to cool completely and store in a jar in the fridge for up to a week
